Since the pandemic, the way we learn has transformed—bringing lifelong personal development into sharper focus. The numbers tell the story:

USD 267.29 Billion in 2023, projected to skyrocket to USD 835.51 Billion by 2032, growing at a CAGR of over 13% (2023–2033). The UK, notably, is leading the Central and Eastern European market opportunities (source: Beyond Market Insights).

But here’s the catch.

Learners are overwhelmed.

Recent findings by the Fosway Group highlight that 80% of organizations find their L&D strategies ineffective. Learners are digitally swamped, uninspired by outdated platforms, and disengaged. With AI replacing many functional and workflow tasks, L&D budgets are shifting focus, to developing critical human-based skills in areas like:

  • Soft skills
  • Collaboration
  • Problem-solving

AI is now a key player in designing L&D materials, from creating content to multi-lingual speaking avatars in virtual reality scenarios and speeding up production.

AI supported translation can be cost effective (subject to languages) for repeat content documents, with consistent phrases and terms. But here’s the challenge:

When it comes to human based emotion and skills needed to support the problems listed above, it’s not hitting the mark.

And if your #translation isn’t tailored to the target audience, it risks undermining the entire investment. Mismatched #language or tone can alienate learners, dilute your message, and render efforts ineffective.

One size doesn’t fit all. Choose translation solutions that prioritise cultural nuance and linguistic accuracy to truly maximize your investment and learner engagement in that digitally swamped world we find ourselves in.

Let’s ensure your L&D materials connect with audiences everywhere.
